Each year the Oregon State Chamber of Commerce, a professional organization of chamber managers, recognizes a chamber director/CEO for his/her professional excellence in their chamber and community.

In 2004, the OSCC board of directors named the award in honor of the late William (Bill) Haas in order to memorialize his contributions to the chamber profession and the association.
